We had an amazing time during our New Year getaway! the spacious and clean feel of the place made us feel right at home. The value for money was great too! We loved the fact that there was a nice kitchen where we could all sit and have dinner together. Plus, having a private parking space was a bonus. The location was perfect, right in the main area of town with lots of restaurants, pubs, and grocery shops nearby. We didn't have to spend much time traveling to attractions or getting food and groceries because everything was literally next door. And the short walk to the pier was just lovely!
Well, our holiday didn't start off on the best note as we had a bit of trouble finding the entrance to the property. It was a bit confusing as the description wasn't very clear.

Chapel Rest is a hidden gem in a prime location. The house offers spacious and clean rooms, providing a fresh and comfortable feel. The kitchen is perfect for family meals, and the private parking space is a bonus. With a short walk to the pier and plenty of nearby restaurants and shops, everything is conveniently located. The views from the bedroom facing the lake are breathtaking. The house truly feels like a home away from home, with added facilities such as games and DVDs for entertainment.
The couches in the house could use an update as they appear tired.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The holiday home at Chapel Rest in Windermere had the most amazing kitchen! It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook up a delicious meal. As a foodie, this made me feel right at home and I could unleash my culinary skills!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the two bathrooms with a shower. I prefer taking long, relaxing baths and missed having that option.

I had a wonderful stay at Chapel Rest and was kinda surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of the hotel. The photos really don't do it justice. My little one had plenty of space to explore, and my parents, who were on their first holiday, had a great experience. The view from the bedroom facing the lake was fine, and the location was perfect with the high street and CO OP just around the corner. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a dishwasher was a bonus. I was kinda surprised by the hotel and would highly recommend it.

The holiday home at Chapel Rest was absolutely stunning! The fully equipped kitchen made me feel like a master chef whipping up delicious meals. Having not one, but two bathrooms, was such a luxury. I loved having the option of a bath or shower, perfect for those relaxing or quick mornings.
Personally, I found the showers a bit small, but hey, that's just my preference.
